Lost in space?!
With the holidays doesn't time fly.
Seriously.
I can't really sum up in words what I have been doing.Oh alright since I am here let me try.
It probably won't seem to far off from what every other Mormon mom does.Really.
November:
Drove 12 hours to Utah for Thanksgiving just to stuff myself like a pig then on to humiliate myself by attempting to play Frisbee dodge ball.I am really bad just ask Misha.
Then drove 12 hours home without Fia. Tim had the luxury of flying home because of work. Like that is an excuse!
Shopped like crazy for all the gifts that I hope my kids will like. Tim and I are past this and just email each other what we want for Christmas. Easy and no returning. Though Tim did have a surprise up his sleeve this year.
December:
Shop,shop,shop.
Sky's school parties,Tim's work party, and our annual cookie decorating party. AAHHH.
Then Summer, Debbie, Polly(great friends of ours),Tim and I put together "A Night in Bethlehem." It sounds easier than it is. We put on a extravagant and most spiritual event that this SC1 ward has ever seen. Truly by far the best thing that I have ever seen done.(and probably never do again.)
Then Christmas was here!! All the mom's in the world cheer and yet slightly afraid that they may have not found all the gifts that were on the list. Like Skylar's puppy idea. I told her that not only the Brown's but the Ballard's have a bad track record for animals too! Besides Santa won't be coming back everyday to clean up the dog poop. And it wasn't going to be me. I already change Fia's stinky diapers. That is enough for me. Tim reassured her though that if we do in fact have another child and it turns out to be a girl, that we will be getting a boy dog a.s.a.p
Then Tim surprised me with the coolest gift, a Toyota Sequoia!! I still can't believe that he could have been keeping a secret like this for this long. Hum, makes me need to re-check his poker faces! Everyone loved their gifts Santa gave Sky her year long, parent nagging wish to get her ears pierced. Kiki got her train set. Fia got a whole lot of wrapping paper and a doll.
A few days later we jumped in that pretty car and drove to AZ for a few days. It was wonderful.
Then it was New Year's and Tim's 35 birthday. We spent a quiet evening at home, relaxed and I got him Wicked tickets to see this year.

Then it was a new year...here we are. Sorry to sum it up for you like that but if you are like me your whole life is full of back tracks and recaps. It is the life as a parent.
When I am old and gray I am sure that I will way what happen to me in the 2000's again? And Tim will remind me that yes I am getting old, loosing my mind and teeth, but during the years of 1999-2007 I was trying my best to raise beautiful, strong and loving girls.
Life's hardest task.
