Last night Tim and the girls and I all went to dinner at our friends
house.
Not only is her house big and spacious but meticulously put together
with the most current style and decor. It really is beautiful.
When I get older I want a house like that too!

Anyways, she invites us over for some stew. I don't know what I expected.
But she made the most fantastic stew that she saw on a magazine.
I have never done this by the way, I have always been skeptical that the magazine editors make it look better than it is just for sales, no I'm serious. This is also why I paid in cash or money orders for most of my life. I have strange but valid conspiracy theories. Don't ask. Tim thinks that I am crazy, because when we first got married I didn't have any credit history...
Anyway back to what I was saying, the stew was fantastic. Here is the recipe....Bon Appetite!

Smoky Beef Stew with Blue Cheese and Chives
Bacon, smoked paprika, and chipotle chile powder (from dried smoked jalapeƱos) give this stew layers of smoky flavor.
