Skylar is becoming a 'Tweener!
I am offically screwed! I have four daughters and one is becoming a 'tweener.
I didn't think that it was possible but it is and there is no way I can stop her!
Gosh darn it! (I would normally us other explicits but for the sake of my husbands bishopric duties I will refrain from posting them.)
My first tell-tell signs are that she never wants to get up in the morning. And she never wants to go to bed.
She cries at the drop of a hat over stupid stuff, like Kiki bugging her or following her every move. She hates this when her sisters drive her crazy.
She flips her hair when she talks.
She talks on the phone all the time. She even sets the phone down so that she can talk to her friend during t.v. shows, homework and even the bathroom.
She has officially posted all kinds of Teen Bop! magazine posters next to her bed.(The ones that she doesn't want she posted to Kiki's wall.)
I really don't know what to do with the idea other than to laugh and tell her that I am sorry that I can't save her from the teenage years ahead!
Buffy, my sister-in-law said that this day would come and the idea that you are still cool will cease to exist. I rally didn't believe her. I was to cool for that kind of advise.
Let me know your thoughts.
I am praying that she confides in my sister-in-laws and sisters, because at least they still think I am cool.
