All About the Brown Girls

This is a conversation that I had with Tim this morning....

Mom!!!! Dad is on the phone.
"Hi, honey."
"Hi."
"Heather, what is your social security number and birth date?"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes."
"No really, you don't know my social? Or my birthday?
"Well?"
I laugh.
Then I tell him my social security number, after all some days I can't even remember my own children's names or even my own name for that matter. Much less my social security number. And in fact I don't even know his social security number! So I laugh it off.
On to more serious matters.
"You really don't know my birth date?"
He stutters...Jan.....31....197?
"TIM."
"What?"
"Seriously?"
"I'm not trying to be funny."
"Right."
I ramble off my birthday to him and say,
"Good thing we covered the basics before we got married."
"I guess."
"At least I was a virgin,"I state.
"Right."
"It is going to be 6 years, maybe it is about time that you learn my birth date?!"
"6 Years?!"
This is why people should never go to Canada.
I am convinced.
