Ever had one of those weeks(or two) that are totally out of control?!
This is my life on a constant basis. Here are the top 5 reasons I haven't had time to blog:
- Tim has been consistantly out of town. Just when I am beginning to think that he doesn't like us anymore, he is either gone again or he comes home in full force. I can't really complain. He really has learned to help out a lot more now that he can see for real that I am not Supergirl, like I always thought I was. He does alot of the laundry now , and fixing things(especially this computer, see reason 2)around the house, he loves playing with the girls, attending soccor games, getting home in time for my tennis and so I can occasionally have the spa night out with my sisters.
- This darn computer!! We just bought it from Costco (which is good, they have a great return policy)and already it has a bug, either that or I just can't figure it out. Darn if we just lived closer to Joe B. Joe is Tim's brilliant computer brother(one of the three). So I have not been able to blog because it keeps freezing up on me.
- These three cute loveable, high maintence girls. I did not realize how much work parenting is. They are for sure keeping me on the edge. Between the usual fitting of princess dresses, endless applications of make-up and the "watch me's!" I haven't decided if keeping me on the edge, are my toes on the edge of a cliff or just the next princess task. It tends to change from one day to the next.
- Time. I feel like I am looking for more time these days. I can't keep up with all the laundry, cleaning, running around to practices, cooking, church, and car maintance(or the lack there of). I am pretty much running around in circles. I especially love it when Tim will ask if he has any clean socks? My resonse is,"What's wrong with yesterdays socks?" I will never find more time. Oh well...
- I'm just so stinkin tired! Anyone that has three girls will atest that I have every reason to be tired. Phoenix still gets up at least once or twice a night. Last week Kiki peed the bed every night while Tim was out of town( I am not to sure what that means exactly?) Sky has endless amounts of questions all day long and I really haven't had a good solid night sleep in a long time. When I do find some time I want nothing more than to collape and catch up on a couple of zzz's but there is "no rest for the wicked!" I must be paying back for what ever I did in my past lives.
Hi Heather,
ReplyDeleteThere is only one solution to your problems; you need to FedEx that baby Phoenix to the Joe Brown family!
All my kids keep asking when we can visit Kiki's house again. Somehow, they could tell she was the landlord. Except Cedric, he wants to visit your 18 house (the street number on the front). I don't think he has realized that most houses have a number on the front.
Anyway, really enjoy your funny stories. Keep up the good work!
Joe B.
Amen sister! The good times never stop rolling. Don't we sometimes wish we could just roll with them...right out the door to a dream world where someone serves us constantly and never plans on us returning the favor. It is good you are blogging these terrible tiering and painful parts of motherhood because we are probably going to look back at these memories in less than ten years and beg to have them return. Here's to tomorrow!
