Europe Here we Come!!!
I am so excited!
As you might know Tim travels quite a bit and he is going to Europe again!
This time I am going with!
I am tickled pink.
Now I know I am not on the plane yet. But the tickets are purchased and I have set up babysitting and I just cannot be more thrilled.
The last time I was there was 13 years ago.
My how time flies.
I remember saying, that I would be back in a year. That really didn't go quite as I have planned. Four pretty girls, and one fabulous husband later. We are off to Europe.
I know a lot of you have traveled many fantastic places.
So here I am asking you world traveler friends of mine, what and where was your favorite place in Europe to visit?I would love details like restaurants, museums, points of interest? Anything really.I think that I am going to go to England first, Ireland, then France.
The last time I was there I thought that I would move there.I was so adventurous.
I hope I can channel my 21 year old self when I tooling around solo while Tim works.
It is all I can think about! I am thrilled!
3 weeks and counting.....

  1. That is so cool, Heather. Any chance you can get over to Spain? Spain rocks. But London is my favorite...you must eat at Wagamama, near the Tottenham Court tube stop. John and I fell in love there over a bowl of noodles 10 years ago...

    Heather,
Summer and I are sitting in SoSpain waiting for our plane...
    Dublin:
    Food-Traditional Irish Breakfast (at a B&B)
Attraction-Guiness Factory (we were the only ones drinking a free Orange Fanta at the end of the tour).
Need to watch Michael Collins (Rated R for mature themes)
    London:
    Food: Fish and Chips/Curry (anywhere)
    Attraction-You know whazup.
    Paris:
Food: McDonald's. I hear the Big Macs are especially good.
Attractions-EuroDisney is way better than in the OC.

  3. Heather-I am so excited for you guys! Maybe you've already left, but if not have fun. My sister and I saw Les Miserables in London when we went a few years ago and it was incredible. You can probably see it in the U.S., but we got front row tickets on the day of the performance there. I also loved the cathedrals in Paris. Notre Dame and the white one on the hill. Shopping at Mango and Zara was great too. Once again, have fun! I'm excited to see all of your picture.

  4. Oh, one more thing, the Indian food is fantastic. I think there are several restaurants on a street called Brick Lane.
